          Alexander T Gruft joined the firm in 2003. He has significant litigation experience in state court having worked two years at the San Diego District Attorney's Office in both the South Bay Office and within the Special Operations Unit. Mr. Gruft also served as an extern for federal Magistrate Judge Ruben B. Brooks of the United States District Court - Southern District.

          Mr. Gruft received his Juris Doctor in 2002 from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he served as a member of the National Moot Court team and Associate Editor of the San Diego Law Review. He completed his undergraduate education at Sonoma State University and graduated cum laude with a BA in history in 1997.
