Robert C. Wright is a founding partner of Wright & L'Estrange. After practicing for a year in Los Angeles, he came to San Diego in 1973 and joined the firm of Sullivan, Jones & Archer. In 1983, he, John L'Estrange, Jr., and current Superior Court Judge William R. Nevitt, Jr., formed Wright & L'Estrange. Mr. Wright graduated from Occidental College in 1968 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and from Hastings College of the Law in 1971 with a Juris Doctor degree. He has been a member of the State Bar of California since 1972. Mr. Wright is engaged in civil trial practice in federal and state courts. He has represented corporate, governmental, and individual clients in a wide range of single party and class action cases involving unfair competition, products liability, antitrust, securities, corporate, banking, fidelity bond, real estate, trust, will, and employment law. In addition to numerous trials in state and federal courts and before an international jury, Mr. Wright has argued appeals before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal and the California Supreme Court. Mr. Wright is a member of the American Law Institute and an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of San Diego School of Law.
